Nothing quite says luxury like Italian design. BMW recognized this and worked with Italian design firm Pininfarina to create a stunning one-off luxury gran coupe. The Pininfarina design first debuted at the Villa d’Este in Italy earlier this year. The Gran Lusso Coupe is reminiscent of the BMW 7 Series.
BMW once again wowed the world with its Gran Lusso Coupe designed by Pininfarina at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. This event is where some of the world’s most luxurious cars and car aficionados gather each year.
The design is truly elegant with a long wheelbase, set-back greenhouse, and stretched bonnet. It features a one-of-a-kind paint color and a stunning interior that includes unique features, such as 48,000 year old Kauri wood trim and the finest leather upholstery.
The Gran Lusso Coupe is powered by an immense V-12 engine and rides on 21-inch bespoke-designed wheels. BMW, however, has not released any other performance details.
